CaliVibe puts California's public data on a single interactive map. Instead of jumping between Census tables, crime reports, climate databases and transit schedules, you can explore and compare counties and cities in one place.

The map layers cover housing costs, income, education, school performance, race and ethnicity, age, poverty, crime rates, population, temperature and sunshine hours, plus rail transit routes and 3D terrain. A comparison table puts any counties or cities side by side, highlights the best and worst values, and can be shared as a link.

The data comes from public sources, including the US Census Bureau and California's Department of Justice, Department of Education and Department of Finance. The app was vibe-coded: almost all of its code was written by Claude Code.
