About
Claude Pod runs the Claude Code command-line tool inside a Docker container that can see only the project folder you start it from. Claude can read and edit that folder, but your home directory, SSH keys, cloud credentials, other projects and host shell aren't there at all.
This makes the auto-approval mode, --dangerously-skip-permissions, far safer to use, and it limits the damage an over-broad command, a prompt injection or a malicious dependency can do in normal mode too. It isn't full isolation: the project folder itself is fully exposed and outbound network access stays open, so the README spells out exactly where the boundary lies.
After a one-time image build, a single command starts Claude in any project. The README also covers aliases, exposing ports for dev servers, pasting screenshots, pinning a Claude Code version and running without a network. Claude Pod is an unofficial tool.
